Gan-Gan
This is a short animation based on my grandmother’s life. The film captures the essence of her character through her possessions and gives them a continuing resonance.
Mabinogi
Bi-lingual animations based on famous Welsh folk tales, made with the support of the VSCO Artist Initiative.
The films were animated using a combination of stop-motion, hand drawn animation and photography.
Go Tell The Bees
I worked collaboratively with National Theatre Wales on several short films and online events as part of their project Go Tell The Bees. The project was set in Pembrokeshire and is the community’s co-created response to climate change themes.
Relic
I never met my grandfather, but I did meet his teeth. A short poetry film.
