About Me

I’m Gemma — an animation director, illustrator, and artist from Pembrokeshire. I create bold, playful work with care and heart — from independent short films to ads and explainers.

Since graduating from Kingston School of Art in 2012, I’ve worked with clients like Penguin Books, BBC, The School of Life, and Tate, distilling complex ideas into clear, impactful imagery. I collaborate with talented producers, animators, composers, and sound designers to bring every project to life.

Alongside client work, I develop independent short films and explore animation’s power to tell real stories. I live in Newport, Pembrokeshire with my wife, son, and dog — I’m inspired daily by the people and landscape around me.
